Castle Pines Real Estate Information

A straight beeline south of Denver on the I-25, the town of Castle Pines is home to almost 6,000 people who enjoy quiet streets in a rather modest bedroom community.
Rather distant from Denver compared to many other places, Castle Pines is a nice mix of people who work in downtown Denver and retirees. The large Independence Day celebration hosted by Castle Pines exemplifies the tight-knit neighborhood that has been created in the area. Not only does most of the community participate, but streets are often blocked off for large gatherings of families, friends, and neighbors. Other annual events include Front Range Showcase, Elephant Rock Bike Tour, Castle Rock WineFest, Douglas County Fair and Parade, ArtFest, and Starlighting.

The rather urban community is surrounded by a number of popular golf courses.
Several of Denver?s urbanites choose the courses in Castle Pines for their exclusivity and rural setting, being outside of the metropolitan area. The Ridge at Castle Pines North, Country Club at Castle Pines, Castle Pines Golf Course, and Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course are the four primary links in the area. Two of the courses are designed by Jack Nicklaus and are actually located within the gated community of Castle Pines Village. Daniels Park, a large recreational area, is also a popular place to go on the weekends because of its expansive fields, picnic areas, and play areas.

The Prime Outlets at Castle Rock is also popular attraction. Over a hundred outlet stores are located in Castle Rock, attracting thousands of shoppers annually. The ? Rock's other retail districts include historic Wilcox Square, Village Shopping Center, Plum Creek Center, and Mile-Stone Center, all of which offer excellent stores and facilities. A bus service is operated by the city and provides a free shuttle to area restaurants and lodging besides various points throughout the area.
