Littleton Real Estate Information
Arapahoe County?s town of Littleton boats a population of over 40,000 people about fifteen miles south of Denver?s urban business district. Route 85 and the I-25 make the drive quite brief and bearable. However, residents usually only commute into the big city for work because most other resources can be found locally in Littleton itself. Both the Southglenn Mall and Broadridge Shopping Center suit the needs of residents well with a nice mix of restaurants, cafes, entertainment venues, retail stores, and discounters. Littleton also hosts Highlands Ranch Golf Club, Southglenn Golf Course, Columbine Country Club, and Centennial Golf Course, all of which are very popular. It is surprising how many people can be spotted on the links at any one time, even during the work week.
A number of attractions in Littleton bring in visitors from the surrounding areas as well as from the town itself. Hudson Gardens is a beautiful non-profit botanical garden run by residents that works to make Littleton a more visually-appealing neighborhood. The Town Hall Arts Center brings in professional theater to the town and helps to enrich the lives of Littleton residents. The Littleton Historical Museum is also popular for its many interesting exhibits.

Littleton Public Schools serves the area quite well with an extensive network of campuses to serve local residents in grades K-12. Over a dozen elementary schools are part of the district, including a number of specialty schools that cater to certain talents. The district also operates five middle schools as well as four large high school campuses in Littleton. The schools primarily serve Littleton?s students but also draw from a population base just outside of Littleton?s boundaries. Arapahoe Community College is also located in Littleton and provides a superb experience for students both young and old. Interestingly, a large portion of the enrollment is from Littleton?s older generation looking to take practical classes.
