Transportation in Westminster is quite simple. The Denver Regional Transportation
District bus service provides extensive service within Westminster and within the greater
Denver metropolitan area. Plans are being made to extend the rail system to the
neighborhood. A bus service that runs to the Denver International Airport is an added
amenity for Westminster?s residents.
Several major highways and interstates pass through Westminster and connect the town to the surrounding region, namely the I-25 and Routes 36, 287, and 128. A Water World that is in the center of Westminster brings in a lot of visitors from surrounding areas. The expansive Westminster Mall is a popular community hangout because of its several levels of stores, boutique shops, restaurants, and large food court.
